Four Grey County Paramedics will receive the Ontario Award for Paramedic Bravery at a ceremony Thursday evening at Queen’s Park in Toronto. In total, the Province is honouring 21 paramedics across the province.

On April 20, 2016 Grey County received confirmation from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care that funding will continue for community paramedicine until March 31, 2017.

On April 5 Grey County Council discussed possible solutions to the challenges facing Rockwood Terrace, the County-owned long-term care home in Durham.  Rockwood Terrace is an older building and requires significant updates by the year 2025 to meet Ministry Standards.
