Respiratory outbreak declared at Lee Manor

Update April 28, 2025 -

Public Health has declared the respiratory outbreak over on the 3 South and 2 South home areas at Lee Manor. The respiratory outbreak remains active on the 3 North home area. Enhanced infection control protocols remain in place:

  • Home wide universal masking (surgical mask) is required for all staff and visitors.
  • Increased surveillance and enhanced infection prevention and control measures including audits, and hand hygiene audits.
  • All staff are following outbreak protocols and are wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Surgical masks or N95 masks are required when entering an isolation room.
    • PPE signage is posted at the resident’s room.
  • Residents in isolation are limited to one (1) Designated Care Partner.
  • General visitors are limited to 1 per resident on the 3 North home area.

The safety and wellbeing of our residents, families, and team members is our highest priority. Please refrain from visiting the home if you are feeling unwell. If you require additional information, please contact the home at 519-376-4420.

Public Health has declared the respiratory outbreak over on the 1 South home area at Lee Manor. The respiratory outbreak remains active on the 2 South, 3 North and 3 South home areas. Enhanced infection control protocols remain in place:

Public Health has declared a respiratory outbreak on the 2 South home area at Lee Manor. There are currently four residents experiencing respiratory symptoms with test results pending. As a reminder, outbreak protocols remains in place on the 1 South, 3 South, and 3 North home areas. The symptomatic residents are isolating and receiving care.

Enhanced infection control protocols are in place. We are taking the following steps in response to the outbreak:

The symptomatic residents are isolating and receiving care.


Update April 11, 2025, 4:45 PM - 

Public Health has declared a respiratory outbreak on the 3 North home area at Lee Manor. There are currently three residents experiencing respiratory symptoms with test results pending.  As a reminder, outbreak protocols remains in place on the 1 South home area. The affected residents are isolating and receiving care.


April 6, 2025 -

Public Health has declared a respiratory outbreak on the 1 South home area at Lee Manor. There are currently ten residents experiencing respiratory symptoms, with test results pending. The affected residents are isolating and receiving care. In an effort to prevent further spread, roommates and high-risk contacts are being closely monitored. We are working with our Public Health partners and monitoring the situation.
