Information Sessions – Rural Transit

Council members from the counties of Bruce, Grey, Dufferin and Wellington along with the SMART Board will be participating in an online information session on rural transit on the following dates:

• January 15, 2026, 6:00 p.m.
• January 29, 2026, 1:00 p.m.

The session is part of the Joint Regional Transit Study currently underway with Bruce, Dufferin, Grey, and Wellington Counties, along with Saugeen Mobility and Regional Transit (SMART), to explore the possibility of a unified regional transit network across all four counties. Dillon Consulting will provide an information session, Rural Transit 101, offering insights into the benefits and challenges of operating transit services in large rural areas.

The sessions will be livestreamed and recorded from the County of Grey’s Youtube Channel.
