Grey Bruce CSWBP Safety and Well-Being Survey Now Open: Residents Encouraged to Shape the 2026-2031 CSWB Plan

The Grey Bruce Community Safety and Well-Being Plan (CSWBP) is inviting all residents to participate in a region-wide survey launching today and available until April 19, 2026. The survey is a key step in developing the 2026-2031 Community Safety and Well-Being Plan, which will guide collaborative action to improve safety, health, and quality of life across Grey and Bruce Counties.

This survey allows community members to share their experiences, priorities, and concerns on issues such as housing, mental health, community belonging, crime and access to services. Feedback gathered will directly influence the next five-year CSWBP and will help partners better understand local strengths, challenges, and emerging needs.

The survey is available online and in-person at a variety of accessible locations including municipal offices, libraries, community hubs and partner organization sites throughout the region.

To encourage participation, respondents will have the chance to win one of twenty $50 gift cards. Participants can choose to enter the draw after completing the survey.

“Community voices are essential in shaping meaningful, effective solutions,” said Alexis Cook, CSWBP Coordinator. “We encourage all residents to take part and help us build a stronger, safer and healthier region for everyone.”

What is the Community Safety and Well-Being Plan (CSWBP) Grey-Bruce?

Community Safety and Well Being Planning helps organizations improve the things that keep us healthy, happy, and safe. Together, we use research to create solutions focused on education, health care, food, housing, income, crime, and belonging. It is important that we create a welcoming community where problems are solved before they happen and where different professionals and community members come together to help people now and in the future. 

The ongoing work of CSWBP is supported by an advisory committee representing over 78 partners from across Bruce and Grey who are working together to address crime prevention by investing in social development, prevention, and risk interventions. This upstream preventative model focuses on creating protective factors that make individuals less vulnerable to crime and victimization.
