The Finance Department holds fiduciary responsibility for the Corporation of the County of Grey and provides a wide range of professional financial services including: procurement, cash management, budget planning, accounting, reporting and risk management.
Grey County has an annual operating and capital budget of over $186 million. Through the direction of Grey County Council, tax dollars are put into action to serve residents, support people in need and help our community prosper.

10-Year Capital Budgets
Grey County maintains a 10-year capital budget forecast to budget and plan for future investments in infrastructure, buildings, equipment and other items.
Asset management is the system used to track the quantity, condition and value of county-owned assets. As of 2021, Grey County managed and maintained more than $1.4 billion in publicly owned assets. These assets include our roads and bridges, buildings, housing properties, our fleet of vehicles, equipment, technology and much more.
