We want Grey County to be inclusive and welcoming to people of all ages and abilities. As part of Recolour Grey, we recently partnered with students from the University of Guelph to look at policies that better support youth and older adults.
For this study, students reviewed findings from other communities and reached out to the community for feedback. The study was endorsed by Grey County Council in the spring of 2017 and findings will be included in the next update of the official plan.
The holiday season is approaching. This year think local first when shopping and celebrating. You may be surprised by what’s available right in your own backyard.
Grey County is developing a Climate Change Action Plan to understand the impacts of climate change and reduce our green house gas emissions.
The majority of municipalities of Bruce and Grey have come together with community partners to undertake Community Safety and Well-Being Planning.
Newcomers are an important part of our communities in Grey County. Coming from outside of the country or from other areas of Canada, newcomers bring culture, skills and knowledge to our communities and workplaces.
