Proposed Revisions to Official Plan Amendment 80 
Official Plan Amendment No. 80 is the 5 Year Review Amendment to the County of Grey Official Plan. Official Plan Amendment No.80 includes a number of modifications to the current County Official Plan. County Council adopted Official Plan Amendment No. 80 (OPA80) on March 3, 2009. The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) approved OPA80 with modifications on February 14, 2011. There are currently three appeals against OPA80 that are currently recognized by the Board, including an appeal submitted by Insicon Inc., Cuesta Planning Consultants and the Town of Hanover. The County has met with the appellants to Official Plan Amendment No. 80 in an attempt to resolve the concerns.
Based on the meetings, the revisions identified in Report PDR-PCD-06-12 have been supported by the County Planning & Community Development Committee on January 12, 2012 and County Council on February 7, 2012. A copy of Staff Report PDR-PCD-06-12 is included in the document list below.
With respect to the appeal from the Town of Hanover, Hanover has provided information indicating that additional lands surrounding the Town of Hanover require re-designation to a settlement area designation in order to accommodate anticipated growth. Copies of the various studies provided by the Town of Hanover are included in the document list below.
As directed by the County Planning and Community Development Committee, Notice of the proposed revisions to Official Plan Amendment No. 80 regarding lands adjacent to the Town of Hanover in the Municipality of West Grey was circulated to agencies and potentially affected landowners on February 14, 2012. The Notice that was circulated is included in the document list below.
