Services Provided by the County of Grey

The County of Grey provides a number of key services for residents. A network of County Forests and Trails are enjoyed by both visitors and local residents. Agriculture in the County includes more than half a million farmed acres of land producing hay, apples, sheep and lambs and the number two producer of cattle in all of Ontario. The County of Grey is also committed to oversee and provide direction to the Joint Grey County Accessibility Advisory Committee on the preparation, publication and implementation of the County of Grey Accessibility Plan. |
Planning and Development in the County has a main purpose to establish, co-ordinate and administer a comprehensive planning and development program in the County and its member municipalities to ensure orderly, socially and economically beneficial physical expansion and development,within the planning legislative framework.
The Transportation Services Department provides maintenance and construction the County Roads, and maintenance and repairs on culverts and bridges.
