Welcome to Grey Gables, a not for profit Municipal Home located in Markdale Ontario. Grey Gables is warm, open, personal and pleasant. Sixty-six residents are accommodated in spacious private, semi private and two person basic rooms. It is small enough to be intimate, but large enough to provide a full range of programs and services.
The state of the art building offers a safe, bright and homelike environment. Rooms are grouped into three resident home areas, each with its own dining room, bathing spa, living room and outdoor patio. Every resident has a scenic view and our basic accommodations are shared by two people. Other features include a tuck shop, chapel, private family dining room, enclosed landscaped grounds and several lounges and sitting areas.
In addition to 24 hour nursing care, specialized services are available at Grey Gables and include physiotherapy, restorative care, hair care, foot care and dental care. With strong community roots and a solid base of volunteers and recreation staff, we offer a wide range of recreational, social and therapeutic activities. Activities include musical entertainment, pet therapy visits, library services, spiritual programs and community outings.
