Response Time Standards
Grey County EMS is committed to the following response time standards twenty four hours per day, seven days per week:
90th percentile response time requirement of 15:54 for code 4 calls
Reaction time of two (2) minute for emergency calls
Reaction time of three (3) minutes for non-emergency calls
Upon assumption of the ambulance service in 2001, the County of Grey has implemented 24 hour staffing at five stations and has operational ambulances in Craigleith and Dundalk.
During the day there are twelve (12) ambulances on-site, while during the night time hours, there are a total of five (5) ambulances available to respond to emergency calls.
