Medical Coverage
Grey County Emergency Medical Services provides on-site, standby medical coverage for a variety of occasions, such as film shoots, corporate functions, community events, and sporting competitions. We are the sole ambulance provider within the County of Grey boundaries that is licensed to transport patients in an emergency situation (under the Ambulance Act of Ontario).
Past events at which Grey County Paramedics have been present include:
- Community events such as the Georgian Bay Polar Bear Dip, 2010 Olympic Torch Relay, Georgian Cup Snowmobile Races
- Large scale events and festivals such as the 2009 Wiarton Big Music Fest & 2004 International Plowing Match
- Owen Sound Demolition Derby, Holstein Rodeo
Community / School Participation
Grey County Paramedics also are available for school visits, public education, and displays. Whether it is a Career Day, 'Touch-A-Truck' Event, Health Fair, Talk to Seniors or Trauma Prevention Presentation, Grey County EMS can help make your event memorable.
