Grey County Council consists of 18 members representing nine municipalities. The Warden is elected by council each year to sit as the executive officer of the corporation and the head of County Council.
County Council meets once a month at the Grey County Administration Building in Owen Sound. See meeting schedule for meeting dates.
County Council utilizes a standing committee structure to facilitate the decision making process. Each standing committee meets regularly and the minutes of each committee then go forward to County Council for adoption. County Council also utilizes subcommittees and task forces to streamline the decision making process and Council also makes appointments to external boards and commissions.
