The County of Grey is a family of distinctive communities which values its heritage, natural beauty, clean, healthy environment and rural lifestyle. As the fourth largest county in Ontario, Grey County is home to more than 82 thousand residents.

Employing approximately 750 people, the County of Grey is dedicated to managed, sustainable growth while also offering agricultural and rural simplicity and big city activities.

 

Situated two hours north of Toronto, Grey County offers beauty you can't get in the city along with a lifestyle that is more relaxed and family oriented.

The population of the County is 83,378; number of electors in 2006 was 91,508 and covers an area of 454,040 hectares. The County has 867 kilometres of highways, and in 2007, its expenditure budget was $103,979,063.00.

Located on the south side of Owen Sound, the County of Grey Administration Office is home to the administration arm of these services and for County Council.
