Owen Sound
Known as The City by the Bay, and The Scenic City, Owen Sound is a harbour town with a heritage tied to the commerce and culture of the Great Lakes. Its natural setting features the limestone cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment, valleys and waterfalls, beaches and parks. Owen Sound offers shopping, health and educational services to visitors, residents, and the surrounding area. Recently recognized as a 2004 Cultural Capital of Canada.
